| Theater of the Oppressed is a multi-faceted approach tying personal growth to systemic social change. It echoes The Satir Growth Model. Interactive games, body-oriented exercises and role-plays are used to explore internalized and external oppression preventing us from becoming who we really are. We will search for empowering strategies to help us confront our oppressions congruently and transformatively. We will also discuss using TO and Satir work for personal, family and cultural change in former Soviet Countries |
