From Poverty to Eco-cultivation Ashara Ekundayo, Kendra Sandoval

 
Ekundayo’s emerging voice in the movement toward eco-equity combines imagery, poetry and sound. Sandoval serves diverse communities of people in the realms of social justice and environmental activism. Together, they explore new urban sharecropping and cultural activism aimed at expanding and redefining the conversation regarding psychological and social poverty. Learn how they are working to cultivate and restore sustainable living in communities of color. Ekundayo is a producer, curator, media activist, mother and the owner of BluBlak Media in Denver. Founder of Blue and Yellow Logic, Sandoval was outreach director with Alliance for Sustainable Colorado.
